Birmingham Museum and art gallery

Today’s visit to Birmingham Museum and art gallery was to see an exhibition called Marvellous Machines featuring drawings and inventions by Frederick Rowland Emett. Including machines from the film Chitty Chitty bang bang.

Emetts work is both amusing and completely unique you feel like you are in a completely different world. His inventions and machines are one of a kind, unimaginable pieces that when moving keep you mesmerized with all the intricate pieces moving in different motions.

Seeing Emetts marvellous machines was well worth the entry fee charged by Birmingham Museum and art gallery, and I would recommend it to anyone who is or will be in the area while the exhibition is still in Birmingham.
